Ducati has achieved another record year for sales in 2022, by moving a total of 61,562 units. It was also the first time sales crossed the 60,000 unit mark in the brand's 96-year-old history.

The number equates a 3.6% increase over 2021, which saw the sale of 59,447 units. Although the increase may not seem a lot, it was a great achievement given the logistics nightmare that the world is still facing.

Unsurprisingly, the best-selling model was the Multistrada V4 which sold 10,716 units, followed by the Monster at 7,971 units, and the Scrambler 800 range at 6,880 units.

The best market was Ducati's home country of Italy which saw and increase of 10%, while the hotly contested North American market saw a 6% decrease. The next best market was Germany, with a 9% increase.

2022 also saw Ducati's worldwide dealer expansion to 821 dealers - along with entering Brunei, Ecuador, El Salvador and Mongolia - bringing the total to 96 countries.

Ducati is pining their hopes on the new Diavel V4, Multistrada V4 Rally and new generation Scrambler for 2023.
