"Which Shoei helmet should I choose?" is a question we usually hear. It stems from several factors such as having too many attractive helmets to being unsure of how one would fit to budgetary concerns.

The Shoei Z-7 full-face helmet was a success story, given its features, comfort and price point. But the advent of the new UN ECE R22.06 makes it necessary for an update in the form of the new Shoei NXR 2 (or Z-8 in certain markets).

Shoei is now an established and respected premium helmet brand, having come a long way since its humble beginnings.

The FIM is set to roll out Phase 2 of the programme, called FHRPhe-02. The FIM will cooperate with the Impact Laboratory at the University of Zaragoza to fully develop the new standard for motorcross, supercross, enduro, rally, and other off-road motorcycle races.
